Mom's Home app for iPhone and iPad

This utility will allow you to track who is home based on connectivity to your router or access point. Assuming you have a router running DD-WRT, etc. or an access point running on your Raspberry Pi, MediaTek LinkIt™ ONE, etc. and knowing where the DHCP leases file is, it will take you 5 minutes to set this up by simply following the instructions in the App.
Once its set up, you can check if your Mom or loved ones are home, even when you are thousands of miles away from home. All you need to make sure their smartphones are connected to your Wi-Fi.
